A public hearing held Thursday about the pedestrian and bicycling trail proposed to run through the eastern end of Mecklenburg County as part of the proposed Southeast High Speed Rail Project brought out just a handful of people to ask questions and hear details.
The East Coast Greenway trail, allowing bicyclist, walkers, skating and even equestrian enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of rural Virginia, will run parallel with the Southeast High Speed Rail Project (SEHSR) through La Crosse, officials said.
