Virginians For High Speed Rail

What would you ask the candidates for Governor?

The board and staff of Virginians for High Speed Rail have recently begun educating the various candidates for Governor on rail policy in Virginia. So far we have had two great meetings with Brian Moran and Bob McDonnell, and are setting up meetings with Sen. Creigh Deeds and Terry McAuliffe.

Soon, we will be sending them a four to five question survey for each candidate to answer which will be included in our Spring 2009 newsletter that will be mailed to about 60,000 registered pro-rail voters and to our members and supporters.

We need your help!

What would you ask the candidates for Governor?

Please format your questions as follows:

- Please keep them short enough to be answered in one paragraph.

- Please keep them relevant to the advancement of rail in Virginia or the region.

- Please keep them non-partisan.

Please submit your questions to vhsrdc@earthlink.net.

Our staff will choose the best four or five questions to include in our survey that we will send to all the candidates.

If you would like to contribute to help pay for this monumental newsletter mailing you can make a secure tax-deductible contribution here (https://co.clickandpledge.com/sp/d1/default.aspx?wid=20270).

Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,

Danny Plaugher
