RICHMOND - As Democratic legislators grumbled Friday over details of a Republican-authored transportation plan, Gov. Timothy M. Kaine acknowledged his own reservations but insisted he wants to work with GOP leaders to ease traffic congestion.
"Everybody has a different view on what's sufficient and what's insufficient, but we all want to find a plan that works," Kaine told reporters. "I'm certainly telling people, don't get into this 'We're going to kill it at all costs.' Let's try to work so that we can find a good solution."
