Virginia General Assembly 2013
VHSR's goal during the 2013 General Assembly Session is to secure a long-term, reliable, and sustainable funding source for the Virginia Intercity Passenger Rail Operating and Capital Fund (IPROC). IPROC needs around $50 million annually to sustain Virginia's very successful regional trains, invest in passenger rail improvements, and match federal passenger rail transportation grants.

We need to secure $50 million annually for Virginia’s Intercity Passenger Rail Operating and Capital Fund or we are at risk of losing our Regional intercity passenger rail service starting this October!"
